Return, Replacement, Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Nish Jewelry, we carefully inspect and pack every order before dispatch. Please read the following policy before placing your order.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled only before they have been shipped.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
  • To request cancellation, contact us immediately through our website Contact page or email us at thenishshop@gmail.com.
  • We cannot guarantee cancellation if order processing or dispatch has already started.
  • If an eligible prepaid order is cancelled before shipment, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video

A clear and continuous unboxing video is mandatory for claims relating to:

  • A damaged or defective product
  • A broken product
  • An incorrect product
  • Missing items
  • An empty or tampered package

The video must:

  • Begin before the shipping package is opened.
  • Clearly show the shipping label and sealed outer packaging.
  • Show the complete opening of the parcel without cuts, pauses or editing.
  • Clearly display the product and the reported issue.

The unboxing video must be submitted when raising the return or replacement request. Claims involving damage, defects, incorrect products or missing items may not be accepted without a valid, continuous unboxing video.

Please do not remove product tags or discard the original packaging until you have inspected your order.

3. Return Eligibility

Returns or replacements are accepted only when:

  • The product was damaged during shipping.
  • The product received is defective.
  • An incorrect product was delivered.
  • An item is missing from the package.

A return or replacement request must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

Products must be:

  • Unused and unworn
  • In their original condition
  • Returned with all tags, packaging, accessories and complimentary items
  • Supported by clear photographs and a continuous unboxing video

Approval is subject to verification by Nish Jewelry.

4. Non-Returnable Cases

Returns, replacements or refunds will generally not be accepted when:

  • The customer changes their mind.
  • The customer no longer likes or wants the product.
  • The wrong product or quantity was ordered by the customer.
  • The request is submitted more than 24 hours after delivery.
  • The product has been worn, used, washed, altered or damaged after delivery.
  • Product tags or original packaging are missing.
  • Minor colour variations occur because of lighting, photography or screen settings.
  • The product has been damaged due to improper use, perfume, chemicals, moisture, storage or failure to follow care instructions.
  • A valid unboxing video is not provided for a damage, defect, missing-item or incorrect-product claim.
  • The parcel was refused without an approved reason.

This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

5. Return Request Process

To request a return or replacement:

  1. Email thenishshop@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. Mention your order number, registered name and contact details.
  3. Explain the issue clearly.
  4. Attach photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label.
  5. Attach the complete, continuous unboxing video.
  6. Wait for approval and return instructions from Nish Jewelry.

Do not send any product back without prior approval. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

6. Replacement Process

  • Once the request and supporting evidence are verified, we will inform you whether the replacement has been approved.
  • Approved replacement requests will normally be processed within 2–3 business days.
  • Replacement delivery normally takes approximately 4–7 business days after dispatch, depending on the delivery location and courier service.
  • Replacement is subject to product availability.
  • If the same product is unavailable, Nish Jewelry may offer an alternative product, store credit or a refund, as appropriate.

7. Refund Policy

Nish Jewelry generally follows a replacement-first policy. Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind requests.

A refund may be considered when:

  • The order is lost in transit.
  • The customer does not receive the order and the courier confirms the loss.
  • An incorrect or damaged product was delivered and a replacement cannot be provided.
  • The ordered product is unavailable after payment.
  • An eligible prepaid order is cancelled before shipment.
  • A refund is otherwise required under applicable law.

All refund requests are subject to verification and approval.

8. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be initiated to the original payment method.
  • It will normally be processed within 7–14 business days.
  • The time required for the amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider or payment gateway.
  • Original shipping charges, COD fees or other non-refundable charges may be deducted where permitted and applicable.

For Cash on Delivery orders, approved refunds may require the customer to provide appropriate bank or UPI details securely through the method communicated by Nish Jewelry.

9. Return Shipping

  • If a verified damaged, defective or incorrect product was delivered, Nish Jewelry will communicate the available return or replacement arrangement.
  • Customers must follow the return instructions provided by us.
  • The product must be securely packed to prevent damage during return transit.
  • Nish Jewelry is not responsible for products returned without approval or through an unapproved shipping method.
  • If inspection shows that the product is not eligible under this policy, return-shipping or reshipping costs may be charged to the customer.

10. Delivery and Replacement Delays

Estimated delivery and replacement timelines may be affected by:

  • Courier or transport delays
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Customer unavailability
  • Adverse weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with delivery-related issues, but delays caused by external factors may be outside our direct control.
